About the Kaiserbründl

The Kaiserbründl in Vienna is one of the most beautiful saunas in the world. According to the Spartacus Gay Guide: “A Must for the International Tourist!”
The sauna has been open continuously and open daily for over 130 years. In addition to original dignified equipment, the Kaiserbründl offers 1,700 m² for pleasurable experiences!
Including 2 saunas (1 bio sauna), a cruising steam bath, playground, relaxation cabins with TV, relaxation area, slings, darkroom, prison with cages and glory holes
First-class service with warm cuisine ensures the physical well-being!
Hours of business
The Kaiserbründl offers rest and relaxation for adults who want to switch off for a few hours.
Please understand that young people under the age of 18 are not admitted.
The pool closes 20 minutes before closing time – enough time to shower and get dressed.
Getting there
The Kaiserbründl is located at Weihburggasse 18 in Vienna’s 1st district between Kärtner Straße(U1/U3 station Stephansdom) and Parkring(U4 station Stadtpark and Bim line 2 station Weihburggasse) near the Marriott Hotel.
The entrance is the green door in Weihburggasse.

Classic massage
Would you like a massage during your sauna visit? We have several masseurs who can give you a classic massage.
- You can book either 20 minutes for €25 or 50 minutes for €50.
- If you don’t want to use the sauna, you can also book 50 minutes without sauna access for €65.
Make an appointment at the ticket office during opening hours daily from 14:00.
Massage conditions
- Prepayment is not required.
- Please arrive at the sauna one hour before your appointment and register at the cash desk.
- If you do not show up, your appointment will be rescheduled.

You can also enjoy culinary delights in our restaurant area by the ticket office until 21:30.
From Roast Pork to Fiaker Goulash or Spaghetti Bolognese, our standard menu offers something for every taste. There are also sandwiches and salads for the small appetite.

Guest Rules / House Rules
Upon entry, you conclude a contract with Kaiserbründl with the following content.
- The entrance fee for a box or changing room must always be paid in advance.
- Towels and bathing shoes are not to be left anywhere in the restaurant, but must be returned to the cash desk together with the key chip when leaving.
- When leaving the premises, nothing is to be left behind in boxes or cabins and the door is to be locked again.
- Valuables such as jewelry, watches, money, credit cards, glasses, keys, cell phones, handbags and wallets etc. must be deposited at the cash desk, otherwise there is no liability for theft or loss and this is excluded.
- The locks of all changing rooms and cabins are patented. If the key chip is lost, it must be purchased anew and programmed again. The costs of €20 will be passed on to the customer.
- The key number must be shown automatically at each consumption and will be credited to it; all consumptions must be paid for together when leaving.
- It is not permitted to take food or drinks into the Kaiserbründl.
- Guests are obliged to maintain the utmost cleanliness in all rooms and are requested to leave them as clean as they would like to find them.
- No empty glasses, wet towels or other items are to be left behind in cabins and darkrooms.
- It is strictly forbidden to bring candles.
- Out of consideration for other guests, it is also not permitted to block individual cabins in the basement for hours on end.
- We ask you to respect the privacy and intimacy of the other guests.
- Furthermore: NO PROSTITUTION, NO HOTEL, NO DRUGS.
- Kaiserbründl reserves the right to deny access to persons whose admission appears questionable without stating reasons.
- Guests are obliged to follow the instructions of the staff without restriction. This also applies if a guest is of the opinion that the instruction given to them is not justified.
- Anyone who contravenes the guest regulations or objects to the instructions of the staff can be expelled from the premises without entitlement to a refund of the entrance fee. In such cases, a visit ban can also be issued for the future.
- Sauna infusions are only available every half hour. At the beginning of the infusion is the table with the inscription “Infusion, please do not disturb!” To turn. Entering the sauna chamber must be avoided during the infusion.
- Due to the risk of fire, do not hang a wet towel to dry by the sauna heater.
- The doors of the sauna and steam room must be kept closed at all times.
- Smoking is prohibited in the entire area.
